Well, we have been on the road for one year and full-time RVers. It has been quite an adventure. We started in Salt Lake City, went up to Banff, Canada, then south to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta, southeast to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, back through Texas, Tucson and Las Vegas. We returned to Salt Lake in April in time to go on our 23-day cruise to Germany and then on our one week trip to Lake Powell in June with the family. We drove approximately 11,000 miles with many adventures and some misadventures….which is what it is all about.
While in Salt Lake we originally stayed at Hillfield AFB and then moved down to the KOA on North Temple. It was a really well maintained park with lots of old trees for shade. It averaged 95 to 105 degrees while we were there. On one of the hottest days of the year (105) we were trying to enjoy the Taylorsville Days event and slowly melting down and wondering what were we thinking…
While home we were able to enjoy some birthdays and pool parties at Brad’s
We have visited with all our family and friends and are now ready to get back on the road for our second year of adventures…..and hopefully not too many misadventures.
